For this project, I created a short animation called Bad Creatures Episode 1 Mission Impausible. The main goal was to produce something that is simple, engaging, and visually consistent, while still showing my understanding of animation and storytelling.

I chose to base the animation on a style inspired by South Park, because it uses basic shapes and limited movement, which makes it more efficient to produce within the timeframe. At the same time, it still allows for strong character expression and clear visual storytelling.

The concept follows a group of unique creatures, each with their own personality, interacting in a humorous and slightly chaotic way. I was also influenced by shows like Family Guy and Boondocks, particularly in how they use humour, character dynamics, and visual jokes, which I’ve tried to incorporate into my own work.

From a technical perspective, I developed the animation using After Effects, where I focused on keyframing, easing, and experimenting with effects like glow and blur to enhance simple visuals. I then used Premiere Pro to edit the final sequence, paying close attention to pacing, timing, and overall flow to create a more polished outcome.

Overall, this project demonstrates my ability to take inspiration from existing animation styles, adapt them to suit my own concept, and deliver a complete and cohesive animation that meets both creative and technical requirements.
