Clothing

I developed my own fake clothing brand called “REBORN” to understand how colour, texture, scale, and placement work on real fabric and how each garment acts like its own canvas. I learned how designs need to move with the body and how cleaner branding works better across jackets, pants, and hats. That same thinking shaped my shoe brand “K9”, where I redesigned my wing logo to fit the curves of a shoe and studied how different styles carry graphics. Both projects taught me to think more like a product designer and to build identities that I developed my own clothing brand “REBORN” to deepen my understanding of merchandising and how products are presented, positioned, and experienced as part of a cohesive collection. Through this process, I explored how colour, texture, scale, and placement influence not just the design of individual garments, but how they work together to create a strong and recognisable brand identity. I learned that each piece needs to function both independently and as part of a wider range, with consistency across jackets, pants, and hats helping to strengthen the overall message of the brand. I also considered how layout, branding clarity, and product variation affect how a collection would be displayed in both physical and digital retail spaces. This experience taught me to think beyond just designing clothing, and instead approach each piece as part of a larger merchandising strategy that connects design, presentation, and consumer appeal.
